Starting a Radio Station - Plan It!

Most people out their think, hey I have an internet connection, Microphone, Mixer, Headphones, I can start a web site. But, there is more to running a Internet Radio Station then just broadcasting your DJ show or Talk Show. PLAN A HEAD! Just like any organization or business, you should always plan your Internet Radio Station, just like most business's around the world. Fact is, 68% of most Internet Radio stations fail in the first year, for lack of planning.

If you plan your station the correct way, you will be able to "broadcast" for allot longer time, and gain site listeners that will come to your station. A simple plan, will save you money in the long run, and produce a healthier listenership. You do not need to have a degree or know bookeeping to just "Plan" your Internet Radio Station. oh wow, what common sense you've offered. anyone who couldn't have thought that planning was a big deal shouldn't even run a show.and i am s u r e they are out there.

Also, the other two are "than" not "then". And "Ahead" not "A Head" Unless you're being ironic, that is.

I have been in the radio business since the seventies and have been growing.My background includes being on a local radio station playing my kind of music rock and classic rock. I decided since radio has changed so much I like a mix of all formats basically rock,classic and songs from the sixties to todays hits. I also like to play the other tracks that are good but never get played.I play indepndent artists and interview them as well. We also have live shows,one is a free psychic readings and more I am getting together.
