Alligator Jackson

I first met Alligator Jackson in a little ragged roadhouse by the swamps of Florida. I walked in and could of swore that I was drunk although I was stone sober, because sitting at the bar swilling suds was a huge alligator in blue jean overalls and a cowboy hat! Naturally, I exclaimed "Alligators don't drink beer!" The big gator answered "You don't know Jackson ". He introduced himself as Alligator Jackson. I was stunned. Never had I heard of anything like this. Soon he got up and started playing guitar! I was blown away! Some poor fool yelled out "You suck!" He responded with "No, I bite" Then there was a chomp and a shriek..... and well, that part's not important. He assured me that he never harms anyone. I said "what do you eat?" He said "I eat cats". I was horrified and gasped "You eat people's pets?" He winked at a pretty girl and said "Not that kind of cat?" That's Alligator Jackson, always the life of the party. We became fast friends and toured the south together. You gotta love the gator. Like he says ,"I gotta big mouth, but whatcha gonna do 'bout it?" And he jokes "If you can't beat 'em - eat 'em."
