As you should know by now, and if you dont, you "cannot" broadcast any copy righted material, without a "License".  NO, you dont need to go to school, but, should understand your Internet Radio Station's requirments for broadcasting copy righted material.  Copy righted material is everything, well, Copy Righted by the U.S. Copyright Office, which even requires terrestrial radio stations to have license to broadcast copy righted material over the internet.  Copy righted material is not just Music, but Talk Shows, Recorded Events, Snipets and even your own Radio Introduction must be licensed if you use any music in your background.  You should even have a license for that Homer Simpson "DOH".

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is the organization that watches over the Licensing of Copyrighted material.  Just remember, "webcasting" by definition is; refers to the streaming of audio on the Internet. It is sometimes called "Internet radio." Webcasters may be Internet-only services that transmit several different channels of highly-themed genres or retransmitters of over-the-air broadcasts ("AM/FM Webcasts").  Songwriters and publishers usually work with one of three performance rights organizations - ASCAP, BMI and SESAC.

I am Princess, Diamond or Dee...sometimes I am called all three at once. I have lived in the Columbus area all of my life, but I travel extensively which allows me to come into contact with various types of people. I have over 15 years of Human and Public Service experience which has equipped me to love and speak to people with compassion. I was nominated and served on the City of Cincinnati's Human Services Advisory Committee.
